I know that this is a Merc Forum but I am betting that an old outboard enthusiast has knowledge about OMC motors as well.

Thinking about buying this 35 Lark I just found on local craigslist. It has been in the guys garage for 25 years. (he is getting me the SN tomorrow) but in the mean time Is it a Golden Jubilee based on the pics? Sure looks like one to me.

I'll check compression of course but is it worth the $300 (or maybe less)?

I picked up a 1960 Larson All-American powered by a 59 Evinrude Golden Jubliee Fat Fifty for $300.00 It depends how bad you want it. If it is in all there condition it could be worth it.
