Craig at work fabricated for me this outboard motor stand out of 2" x 2" square tubing, 5" iron cast lubricated wheels, diamond plate steps, screwdown stabilizer pads, and standard bolt pattern sleeve holes in the transom plate.

It is certainly sturdy and will hold a 1988 115 HP Mercury Outboard weighing about 325 pounds.

Very nice...

I don't think it'll have ANY problem holding that motor. Might just even hold the boat, too!!

My buddy Mark built me a monster, it may look a little large but it is perfect for this big guy. 5" urethane wheels (moves easily even with a motor on it), heavy duty and tall enough that I look directly at the power head. I can stand on the base if I need to get higher, the base is so large it has it's own trash can.
I am painting a Mark 55 now, more on that later.

That looks like it has been put together with 2x6's? Is that right?

Either way, great looking stand.

I was gonna send you a PM, but I can't figure out how to do that.

Is the width about 2' and length 2' as well?
