However on this particular year he is unable to reproduce the embossing that the faceplate & wrap gold areas had. The original 1965 decals have no red in them. Gold on black. 1966 they added a silver band and some light red accents to the letters. 1967 they added a bit more red accents. Then in 1968 with the advent of the 1000 and 1250 motors they went to all red decals. By 1972 things went blue
