Hello Jeff,

Thanks for your responce at AOMCI.

These are the valves I am talking about.

Terry

I never changed out the actual valve which I assume is press fit into the brass fitting.

I run this old Merc on a 59 Glasspar Seafair Sedan.

What kind of hose is that light gray stuff on your fuel pumps Terry? Looks kinda cool!

Hey Frank,

Its Parker Push-Lok 801-4 WP. It was a good replacment for the original which appeared to be an off white.

Fascinating, thanks Terry.

I used ethanol-proof fuel injection line on the re-build of my '63 Merc1000. It had light colored hoses originally as well.

I'm hoping to get my boat out once or twice more this season, and it may all come over the three day weekend ahead. Predictions are for sun and highs around 60.

Terrydi , Were you at the Muscatine Boat show this year? I thought I talked to a guy with a boat a lot like yours.

I had the crusty looking silver carlson contender with a 1250 merc on it if you were there.

Conrad,

Yes we were at the Muscatine show last May. Mama Mia! was one of the few boats out on the water.

I like the Carlsons so I probably checked you out.
What year is the Merc? Does it have these valves?

Terry
