3 years this has been apart. refurbished, painted, boxed up, moved ........ I could use a photo of the inside lower cowl as to where the starter relay and rectifier go plus if I am missing anything in there. If you have a complete one, a photo would be great. This has a working sling shot starter too.

You need a 28597 rectifier mounting bracket, which bolts to the lower cowl. Found a couple on ebay:

You'll note in the side pic of your lower cowlling, there are (2) holes on "lugs" in the cowling, right below the starter motor. Phillips cap head screws go thru these holes from the outside and engage into a bracket which wraps around the solenoid and holds it to the cowling.

I found a site with MK 30E pics and the rectifier bracket & solenoid mounting are clearly shown:
