TOPIC: What motor does this cowl wrap go to?

It doesn't seem to be for an 1100. What does the cowl wrap go to?

Unless it's a replacement decal on a different wrap, it's either for a 66 or 67 950 or 1100. Can't see the picture well enough. You can identify a 67 by the red pinstripes along the chrome band

make sure the top cowl is on right and adjust the 3 clips on the wrap. it fits all 6cyl 65 and up in line will into the 80's

Actually the top hat mounts via (2) clamping levers, (1) port and (1) starboard. So it'll only fit those motors with that style of attachment.

The motor is a good find, 1100 Short Shaft is pretty hard to come by. It should make a 15"-transom fiberglassic fly!

But...I can't get it if the seller will not reply. It doesn't look good.

People are already busy in this world, so add the holidays closing in and who knows. I just try to keep trying once I have made contact so I remain the number one party interested. Everyone practices different codes of respect between buyers and sellers. I am old school... if two parties make an agreement, I honor that. Others are clear that first cash in hand takes it. Well, every time this guy wouldn't reply I would here from Dr.Go! and within 15 minutes the guy with the motor would contact me!
Weird but true. Anyways, I finally made the hour drive and picked up the motor with the boat and trailer for $50. Boat is crap but trailer is not too bad.

50 bucks? The deal of the year. Short shaft inlines are sought after in any condition, well done there.

The ride home was sketchy but worth it. I will have to take the boat to the dump and that will be about $110 but still worth it.

Maybe first advertise as a “free” boat....I took the “free” cheese in the mousetrap. Funny how free can fog the vision... might save you the $110?!. I am getting “boat inspection glasses” for 2018 lol.
