Hi y'all, what is the weight of a long shaft 1963 Merc 1000, 100 HP motor?

I think my 63 850 was about 250 lbs and my '77 1150 is about 300 lbs. I hope that helps.

The pre-'65 850 and 1000 motors would weigh the same. I thought they were around 240lb, but could be 250.
Either way, heavy enough you're not gonna want to wrassle it on or off the boat by yourself! |
