Hello
I have a 1963 Merc 500 with Ride Guide steering. How do I find out which attachment kit is needed to attach the bowden cable to the outboard? I presume they are all different lengths and have different end fittings/sizes.

the cable goes through the tilt tube take the red caps off then the standard connector from the end of the cable to the center of the motor.

Hi Dave
What is the 'standard connector' there seem to be a wide variety of kits available. For example marineengine.com lists kits A to M and I don't know how they differ. |
