TOPIC: Fuel Hose can cause headaches

I think I'll post this on the main forum too, since the problem isn't specific to Mercs, but since Mercs have my heart,...I'm posting it here first.
Check out the attached picture. It shows a seemingly common failure to fuel delivery that can really be frustrating if you aren't aware of this evil failure in recently manufactured fuel hose and use of ethanol.

Bad, isn't it? I hate that grey hose, I buy the E rated fuel hose from NAPA to make up my own hoses and have never had a hitch at all. The grey line is not worth the powder to blow it to Hell.
