Pulled and gave my mag a bath, practiced on my 450, Saturday do the 500 and hope that is the misfire problemo

Coconut bodywash, ha no engine cleaner outside and wd40 and contact cleaner then wd40 towel dry to git rid of any water, hope that works

I use ivory liquid and hot water, scrub with a tooth brush the rinse with HOT water and Blow dry. then light grease the carbon.

I was afraid to use water Dave, here in Anacortes WA nothing ever drys and I didn't want it to rust.

after the rinse with HOT WATER put it under a lamp, that will dry it fast

do you mean inside or just outside the mag, is it ok to get water inside the rotor shaft?

just the cap and rotor not the metal parts inside the mag.
