This motor is on local Craigslist. Sadly, too big for my 12 footer and too small for my Delmar, but it caught my eye because of the lower unit. It just looks odd to me. I'm curious, is this some sort of conversion from a short shaft to long? That gearcase area looks like it has too many housings.

That Merc has a 'Bay Kit' installed, that converts a short shaft Merc (15" transoms) to a long shaft (20" transoms)
It also appears to have electric start with is a real bonus to some potential purchasers.
Where is it located??
