I just used rubbing compound , and alot of elbow grease, but i think it paid off. trying to get her all cleaned up and get her in the water next weekend. also did the rub rail, used degreaser and comet . worked really good. till my wife came out and said ,what ya doing , i said cleaning the rail, she went back in the house and returned with the magic eraser,and said try this!! wow worked like a champ, without much effort !! here's some before and after pics. madbohunk safe boating

Sabre, it went very well. go to main forum, page 2, scroll down 20 posts to "65 shell lake maiden voyage. there's a video (thanks to mark). have had it out twice since then ,runs great,cruises good, infact just got home awhile ago after some cruising ,and tubing.infact the wife gave me a green light to get sonething bigger (since the 59 dorsett catalina is about to get a redo), that way we can take the whole family out a once. so i be LOOKING !!!! madbohunk safe boating
