TOPIC: My 1960 Arkansas Traveler Project.

About a year ago, I was contacted by a guy that from an ad I had on craigslist, found out I was taking in old boats. So he tell me his got this old glassic boat that he has no need for it was his project, but now its mine. At the time I couldn't break away to go get it (nearly 100 miles away). So he says "no problem I'll bring it down tomorrow"

The next day this was sitting in my back yard.

What ? You mean he drove 200 miles round trip to drop it off, and didn't strip it, sand it, fair it, paint it, wet sand it, buff it, and wax it for you ?.... The nerve of some people ???

Yea, the guy that gave it to me did a ton of work already, but I am really enjoying putting this old boat back together..

Sanded primed and a base coat of white done.


4 coats of blue later..


The finished product, with 3 coats of clear..

Very nice, I really liker that color Blue.
