You did an amazing job on that thing, how comfortable is it to sit in?

Thanks Chuck, I think i found a private lake to try it in , I don't want OH numbers
should be water tight. I'm not sure how the packing nut or whatever the prop shaft seal is called will work.
the engine and carb were rebuilt and runs great.
when it hits water I will post.

Thank you
I am 40# over the 200# recommended weight. but it's not to bad to sit in , kind of awkward to get in, but once in pretty comfortable.
on water may be another story.

I assume that it is using an internal "jet" drive and there is no external propeller.
Is that correct ? What is the displacement and mfg of the engine ? What do you expect the top speed to be ?

It's not a jet. It has a conventional propeller.

The boat I got came with two 6" michigan brass props of different pitch.
the engine is a west bend 820 8.2 cubic inch probably putting out 10 to 12 hp.
Aquakart advertised it capable of 25 mph. I think weight and water conditions would be a major factor.
but I really don't know
