I would like to fix this missing piece.
Any ideas? It is a little dangerous crawling in the bow.

It is a 1968 Starcraft TR-17.
There was originally, I believe, an aluminum piece about 8-10 inches long that was fixed over the joint. I did see one from a 72' that I tried to buy parts off of, but the owner wanted the whole boat gone. I know I am missing some rub rail.

heres what the piece looked like on my 1964 seaking(built by starcraft).
in my opinion you might not be missing rubrail, that just might be how long your bow piece is supposed to be,ill try searching for pics of newer then my 64 to find out.john

Yes, that is what I need. The one I looked at looks more like John's than DelRay's? DelRay's is just too shiny.
:)

If anyone sees one in their travels, buy it, I will gladly pay for it and shipping and time. There are no boat junkyards around here.
Wefco seems to have the rubrail.
I may replace it all if it is not too costly.
