Okay I am still looking for glasspar del mar information.
What do you guys think of them, pics and any that are on craigs list or???
I know they dont like alot of HP. 50Hp is good and because it has a round bottom at the transom it takes effort to keep them going streight. They dont like speed from what I under stand. They are cute none the less. Also you dont need to split the deck to do a floor, stringer and transom replacement or so I just read doing some research. The 58/59 model has a wood splash well that can get cut out to get to the transom wood for replacement and new wood can be installed where the old motor well was...

This is a pic of one a neighbor of mine HAD!!! He was selling it for $375 firm but said he paid $500. It has a 59 johnsom super sea horse 50hp motor in unknown condition. I offerd him $200 for it back in Febuary, gave him my number and said to call me when he was ready to give it to me. He said HA HA HA 200 bucks, yeah right.
It needs a full resto including a trailer because the old trailer was rusting through.
Welp, he dosent have it any more.
I was also trying to track down the person that bought another one in Palmdale, ca last friday that I was looking at with no luck so far. That one was almost free. Here is a link, he was asking $100 bucks then $50 bucks, now its gone... gages-56.com/Glasspar.html
