Some people are like slinkies... Not much good for anything, but they sure are fun to push down the stairs.

Yep we are getting it now. This has been a crazy winter. Floods, 2 weeks that it never got above freezing and now all this snow. It's crazy!

New Year's Day 2001. We have had a couple of little snowfalls since but nothing that covered the ground really.

Ahh...boy that settles it. When I retire in a couple, I'm moving north to avoid the winter. Bare grass here folks in the Northeast....bare grass. You Southerners must be freezin your butts off. Seriously...more snow on the ground in LA than NY...who'd a thunk.

Doug,

Snow is like money falling from the sky for me. The ground has been
covered since mid December & the snowmobile trails have been open since
the last week of December.

The kid & I rode to work this morning. It was about -8F as we headed out
across the lake.

As for your snow and all snow to our south, it takes energy to melt it &
that energy being used by you guys will keep us cool a bit longer into
spring extending our riding season.

Yeah, but we'll be boating and water skiing in a month and won't stop till November! :P

Believe it or not, except for the heat bill, I would prefer a longer winter.

I went out to take these pictures right after my last post & when I came in, FG was down. It was horribly slow this morning, and now rocket fast. What ever they did, it worked.

Are you sure you didn't drag that thing up here to Michigan just to take that shot?

We had some flurries here in the Florida panhandle the other day, if it gets worse I think this might be the way to get round:
