I have a Davidson D15 restoration project. I believe the boat to be about 1955 vintage, being probably one of the earliest fiberglass boats built in Vancouver BC, Canada along with Hourstan boats.

I would like;
a)to know if there are more of these little boats still around. I think there is someone who calls himself 'Samonella' is around here.

b)Find a source of Davidson D15 decals

My boat is in need of a deck replacement and not much else. I am the third owner. Previous owner owned it since the mid '50's!

I love it!!! What an awesome hull! If you want vinyl decals ask my man on ebay. He can make you a decent replica of whatever you send him. I got my winner, evinrude, and johnson decals from him.

Hello,
How's the project going? I haven't made much progress, actually going backwards, as I went from using it to dismantling it a few years ago.
I haven't been able to reconnect with the Davidson family, as I did several years ago.
I saw one in "good" condition a few years ago for $2000 with a 50hp merc, so I don't feel like putting much money into mine.

Hey Salmonella and Commando.

I am so sorry to have been away for a long time. I had reached out 5 years ago and had never heard back till now. Yup I still have the boat, but not much done except to keep it pumped dry in the yard.
Last year, about this time, I met another owner in Cowichan Bay. He had just acquired his, however he was moviing about I we did not have a chance to exchange information.

Salmonella; By chance, the one you saw for $2000, was it located in the BC interior? It was rediculous to think that it could handle a 50 hp Merc. Just a totally unsafe combo. I dont think they were meant for more than 30 hp.
