Heres the brand newish motor for my 58 Lake N Sea. Just got it yesterday. Got it cranking when jumping the switch terminal on the solenoid. My question is, does the ignition have to be powered to get spark. I found these 4 pins under the hood (see picture) Pin 3 powers the electric choke. I jumped power to it and it also functions. I am thinking I have to wire a key switch to the remaining pins. Am I correct? Anyone have any info? Also, what weight oil should I mix with the gas? I need a manual.

Thanks
Catto

My camera must take pictures that are to big file wise. heres a couple outside pics. Cant get the one with the terminals to post

just checked and terminal one has battery voltage. So my thyinking is that this terminal should power the switch and then come back to the remaining two terminals, one to crank and one for ignition power. Am I correct?

Ok, I got it running. Cleaned ignition solenoid, removed flywheel and cleaned points, rebuilt carb......thing runs better than my parents 50hp johnson on their pontoon. I love it!! Gonna mount it on the boat next weekend
