I have a stern lite, and can not down load pic's to my new comp. i'll have to get new soft ware. anyway it is oval on the top with a glass globe about 1 inch on top. kinda looks like a flying saucer. I would like to know if some one here can identify it with out pic's. i'll get pic's up as soon as I can. thanks, frog

Sort of a George Jetson style stern light, possibly w/ a purple hue glass globe:

BTW: The purple is the crystal used to make the globe 'oxidizing' w/ UV exposure. LOTS of them go purple...

Jetson stern light is all I've ever seen them called here and another forum I frequent.

BTW: There's a purple globe only for sale right now @Evilbat, $30.

Can't answer either question, sorry. I don't think bow & stern were often a set of lights, some were dealer add-ons, not factory added.

I've seen that stern light on quite a few maker's boats, and although I'm not 100%, I don't think more then 1 or 2 had the same bow light.

Something similar to this:

Which, IMHO, doesn't match.

BTW: That's the bow light on my mid 60's Starcraft Jet, which has the same stern light your asking about:

They both look to be the originally installed light, although the previous owner painted the boat & bow light
