Saw an advert for this hull. Might be a member here? Anyhoos... what is the year/make/model? I recall seeing a boat very similar to this on a trailer posted here a couple of years back.

Appreciate the input if you know what it is.

It is for sale locally. Right in your back yard actually. I thought it may actually be a boat you owned. I asked the seller for a price. I need a boat, wasn't looking for that much of a project though. If it is cheap enogh I may nibble. If I don't pursue it, I'll point you to it.

Picture I was thinking about was someone on this forum driving up the highway with a boat that looked almost identical. Yellow and black perhaps, or red & black. Does look awefulyl close to yours though!

The fins and raised dash area look to be a Renken to me. Nice project!

The owner called it a "Byron Boy Bat Boat". Here is a couple more images that might help.
