TOPIC: Need Help! going to look at a boat

found this boat in my area i am told it is a princecraft but i was almost thinking it could be a Lake N sea? any help would be great thanks

Looks like a nice boat and trailer. You know the transom will need replaced. If you do buy it make sure the transom is solid enough to transport on the boat. Not sure what they are going for in your area. Right now being spring around here they want $1,000 for a 12 ft aluminum boat on craiglist. They never seem to sale them though. LOL

Of course not all the listing are high priced but if you go down there far enough there is a 1933 Whirlwind wooden boat. He wants $6,000 but it sure is pretty.

I would also think it was a Lane N Sea. Pricing should be between $400 and $600 for the Boat, Motor, and Trailer based on condition.

He had that boat advertised as a Starcraft initially and I questioned him on it and he swore it was a Starcraft. The boat is a Lake N Sea Biscayne but Princecraft (based in Quebec) must have either had an agreement with Parsons or they simply knocked off a mould and made their own?? I have seen 2 of these previously so it seems legit. Considering that the Fat 50 has all it's trim and the trailer is an age appropriate Gator I think it is well worth the asking price and if I didn't live 6 hours from him I would already own it, go get it and keep us up to date on it's restoration.

so I picked up the boat last night got it for a good deal, the boat needs some serious TLC but I'm looking forward to restoring this cool boat, thanks for the help guys
