These photos were taken by Bob Parks at Foss Seaport of classic boats on display during the ACBS Meeting on May 8.

Many of these boat will stay at the Seaport for several weeks through their grand re-opening event on June 22, where the theme will be "recreational boating history of the Northwest", at which time more boats will be added to the display and larger boats and classic sailboats will be moored at their the Seaport's docks.

The Foss Waterway Seaport is located in a remodeled, historic waterfront warehouse in Tacoma, Washington.

I was delighted when I was asked to include Bandit with these other beautiful classics.

Dean :)

Kinda new here, so pardon my ignorance....

What is ACBS? Will there be an event day to see these?
(I didn't see anything on the "events" calendar)

Thanks,

Thanks guys. Ed: Antique and Classic Boat Society.

That Chris Craft with the center wing is one of the coolest boats I've ever seen.

Cool stuff.

The finned Chris Craft is the Cobra model.

Great photos Dean!

It is good to see "Bandit" being displayed with those old classic wooden boats!

Hey,....where is that new windshield you bought?

Its still sitting in my boat shop. I'm procrastinating... I want it on, but at the same time, I like the lines of the boat without it (sigh). I will think about it some more after Bandit comes back home.

I hear you Dean. If our 1960 G-3 had not had the original windshield on it I would probably think the same way you do.
If only somebody could make one that looked EXACTLY like the
original!
