Sears, Roebuck & Co. contracted with several manufacturers to produce "Elgin" and later, "Sears" boats. The brand shift came in 1963:

www.fiberglassics.com/library/Sears

Your boat looks similar to Owens/Cutter Boats which are known to have supplied boats to Sears, but I can't be sure. Since it is branded as a "Sears" boat and not "Elgin", it has to be 1963 or later.

From the literature section, it looks like it might be a Sears 14. Very similar to the one in the picture from the 1964 brochure. The deck hardware is early 60s Attwood. Nice boat. Welcome to the club.

I don't see any holes for a windshield. Maybe never had one.

The deck looks exactly like mine, same color even. Except my bow light is mounted where your bow handle is. And my bow light looks like the helmet of Martin the Martian of cartoons. I have searched for another one like mine online to determine the manufacturer, with no avail. Everyone is a bit different. Yours is the closest I'm seen to mine. BTW Mine is a 1962 Elgin that came with a 1961 McCollough 40 HP.
