TOPIC: Called about this one what is it anyone know

This was near me on the free section of cl I called about going to get it have not got a call back but was just curious what it is

K.G. If you also get a trailer I would be going for a look or hook & book . .I would guess early 60's ARISTO - Craft , but a different shorty windshield.?

. Mostly they had a sliding hard top . Bill Turner family out of Atlanta , Georgia if that is the mfg.? not many brochures in the library .

it is an aristocraft funliner...that deffently been repainted.

nice thing about them is there is nada for wood in them other than where the motor mounts and that is replaceable.

i agree with mark and split its a funliner and the windshield doesnt look original,the funliners had one that raked back at the top,for a hard top.

Well it will be mine this afternoon no trailer but I have an extra had a guy buy the trailer and was going to junk the boat and I get the boat so it is not off to the land fill which is where the trailer owner was going to send it

I have been wanting something with fins now I have it. Very nice guy owned it was his Grandfathers boat he actually had sold it guy bought it for the trailer and was just going to dump the boat in the landfill and then I called about wanting to restore it so he gave it to me and refunded the guys money he said he could not see it go to the dump. Said I made his whole weekend he was real upset it was going to be junked he even is getting me the title. His grandfather has passed so he will have to have his grandmother get it but it is very exciting to find such a cool boat to restore

way to go keith,you are not just saving a cool boat,you are preserving the memory of this mans granddad.

Went and picked it up tonight and it was even better in person had been in a barn for some time it is in really good shape very very solid has a couple small cracks in the transom but floor and hull are perfect I can say this it sure is heavy it did not like going on the trailer but it finally saw things my way. I will post pics of it soon as I start working on it have to go get another tomorrow just what I need but it has a motor and trailer so cant pass that up
