It's certainly cool looking. What kind of hull bottom?

You have the mold for it? Where did that come from? Usually people that own molds know from whence they came!

When you say you're looking for help on "building" the boat, can you be a bit more specific?

Welcome aboard and good luck!

Holy cow, Ken! If that's the mold for the Scimitar, that would be like uncovering some historic relic! Don't tease us Paul, NICE find but what's up - more info PLEASE.

What you have there is a Older Charger Boat. Charger boats are still made today but are a line of Bass Boats. I saw one of these that was super nice and original in Minneapolis Craigs list last summer. There super fast hotrods. Here is a link to what they make today.

Or it could be a sleekcraft or a wriedt, or one of many clones. It was a popular jetboat gofast style in the late 70s/early 80s. We had many of this style on the Chesapeake in certain areas. Some had I/Os, some were V6 OBs, a few were inboards, but most were jets.

i will need a little help with what type of hull bottom? what am i looking for? but the boat is all fiberglass.

My Grandpa and Uncle bought the mold from a action and the boat cast was inside. my uncle says it is a carera boat he says that they have one in laughlin that does parasailing. unfortunatley the mold has no marking telling me who made it.

the boat is only a shell and i am looking for some help on building it from nothing. my uncle had two custom tanks made for it and they are 43 gallon tanks.

im also looking for help in selecting a motor. it was strated as a inbaord motor

thanks
paul

Your boat looks really close to this glastron. With a top and windshield it would look close.
