A boat is finished? Really? Does that ever happen? I thought you just attained a higher level of completeness.

Enjoy the show. The boat looks great!

Once the storm clears out, you should be fine. I think my boat was where yours is when I was there. I also recognize that pink trailer next to you. I think the owner's name is Cheryl or something like that. That boat is a very nice original. But you've got the style...

thanks todd, and your right,it did clear up.
as for our boat "WAY BACK WHEN",it did ok,it was between it and a century wooden boat for "best of show restored".
the award brunch is later this morning.
here are some pics of the custom crafts together, the one with the pink trailer belongs to a nice lady named cheryl, like todd said, the 3 to the right of our boat belong to norm dickerson, and the dark blue sting ray is dave albertsons stingray.
the light blue starcraft is steve's beauty of a boat.
the last two pics are of the owners and drviers of the switzer wing
really nice guys.

Congratulations John, Ed, Sheila and Lorraine.

It was great seeing you all again.

You would have won hands down if there was a "modified", or even "classic glass" category.

Glad to see you got the best outboard award.

The boat is stunning and pictures don't do it justice.

Congrats! You deserve it. That is truly an honor considering that is a top shelf show. I only got a 94.5 with the Aqua Ray (although the hood you re-did for me would give me 1.5 of that back.) To get a 97 is a great accomplishment.

Great job John !
I knew your boat would do very well. I'm sorry I missed the show ?
Last Thursday I got in a big fight when some poison Ivy that I didn't see jumped me from behind. I lost the fight big time, My eyes are nearly swollen shut, and I'm a big itchy puss bucket now.

I hear there was a big wind storm there ? I'm glad you weren't caught up in it ! Or were you ?

BTW.... your boat looks much better than plain white. Now it looks like eye candy that everyone wants a piece of !!!

we're like twins john..not my style either.. there was a lady at the tuckerton show last year that has a stingray..all original. the whole weekend she complained to myself and others "how could you do that to that boat" changing color and interior. hehe... yep the sunray and mantaray were very boring boats when we got them. the devilray will be another work of art. ron

as for the devil ray i have some tricks up my sleeve,it wont get many points but it will be cool,i hope, lol.john
