I need a 12,000 GVW trailer. Steel or Aluminum. South east US or Central NJ. $1600 is what I have to play with.

John, I'm pretty sure Heather is looking for a trailer for her (1982 SeaRay Sundancer 270 (27')) boat.

If you wanna watch some good videos on boat restorations or renovations, you can go here:

That's a very popular size trailer here. It may be to far SE but there is normally a selection of that size trailer on the South Florida Craigs list. Pulled a couple last night that might fit.

Good luck, looks like a nice boat!

Very common trailer around the chesapeake and along the coast. use searchtempest.com to search multiple craigslistings around the area you want.

Thanks for keeping the eyes out!

2 days to get it on the trailer but in the long run was not that hard.

Looks like you found a really good one, congrats. How did the new Spookeay Marine tow vehicle do? (Not that it was THAT long of a trip, just wondering.) ;)

It did great on the trip, Not a problem.
It Pulls the boat around the yard like it's nothing so far.

Good deal, glad to hear it. Does it have a ff/water separator on it? (Thinking up my next bribe!) Our diesel pump shop rebuilds a lot of Power Stroke pumps due to contaminated fuel with trash or water in it, both can be fatal. Recommend buying your diesel from a quality station, use the same one as much as possible. ;)
