TOPIC: Bueler Turbocraft Jet 35 Progress

Bueler Turbocraft Jet 35 Progress 13 years 6 months ago #66749

Spent a few hours on disassembly this weekend. Got the bulkheads behind the drivers seat removed, fuel tank removed, exchaust hoses removed, (one was cracked) and most of the hardware removed. Still need to taek the windshield, steering wheel and gauge panel off. Then it turns to sanding and fiberglass repair. I spent another hour with my pressure washer going over everything again. It is amazing how much more dirt you uncover when you take it all apart!
I keep finding interesting bits and pieces as to how this wea built. Found a neat serial number and tag under the engine hatch and some Gray Marine engine winterization carboard tags that were barely legible.
Pulled all of the spark plugs and oiled down the cylinders jsut as a precaution. Can't wait to get it to paint prep stage!
