TOPIC: 58' Ideal Aerosmith

I picked up what I think is a 1958 Ideal Aerosmith B-100. Does anyone know much about it? I can't seem to find much info. It is all original and in nearly new condition. It has a mercury mark 78A that runs really well. I don't know if it was a common boat or if it is rare. It has serial number 37 on the nameplate. Any help would be great.

WELCOME to the forum!= NICE FIND on the Mk78A. i had one of those "back in the day" (1962-65)on a 16FT yellowjacket, that would go like a streak. (Mercury stopped making Direct Reverse engines because DUMB-bunnies did NOT learn to run them properly! = GREAT OB engines.) yours, satx |
