What boat is this? Any ideas? 16 ft, approximately 1958?? Don't know manufacturer or model...

First off - I like the boat. Looks like the Bat Boat.

Second off - Please consider a different color. (Like Black maybe)

I'll take the 1st guess & stab at the name SHELL LAKE.. Never owned one, but saw a purple haze one, & short vertical fins are a

Here is a side pic. Found it listed locally in Alabama, but IMO is way too much $$ at $1500. If it was $500 I would not hesitate to buy. I was just wondering if it might have been some "holy grail" model that would make it worth anything close to what the owner wants. I thought about offering 600-700.

Looks to me like another fleetform hull copy. Much like a Sea Fury. I'd know that hull shape anywhere. Looks like they just changed the hood and added fins and got rid of the bow design.

It's amazing how many boat companies used that same little 14ft fleetform hull and just added stuff to make it look a little different.

1500$ is far too much for a copy boat , especially considering there's nothing on it. no motor , interior , wind shield , trailer.

It's very cool but not 1500$ cool. I'd say for under 400 it would be fair.
