TOPIC: New to the forum, looking to identify the Dorsett

Hello All!

New to the forum and boating in general!

Came across this and was hoping that someone can help identify this Dorsett model.....I cannot find anything on it. I was told that it was a 15' Dorsett Belmont, but it doesn't look like one going by images I've seen.





ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated!

And how hard is it going to be to find the parts for this?

Welcome aboard! If you look in the Library section under Dorsett, there are a lot of images. Keep in mind that this boat is stripped and may look a little different. The Belmont could be close. Look at 58-59. There are a lot of Dorsett people here that can give you guidance on parts.

Yea, already looked through the Dorsett section there, but I just found the link to the Endura Craft section.

Wonder if they carried over some of the body styles to Dorsett for the first year?

Given the Dorsett emblem is one the boat, chances are that's what it is. There were a lot of copy cat hulls back in the 50s and early 60s
