TOPIC: New Member Proud Owner of 1970 Sea Ray SRV 190

Hello To All,
I seen there were quite a few older Sea Ray owners here on this site and thought it would be great to join and share and gain information about my old Sea Ray.
I am still working on getting the boat done. I bought it for cheap $800.00. I knew the Chevy inline 6 auro engine had to go, I had purchased a Mercrusier 165 inline 6 and after checking it out installed it. I am now working on the wiring and interior and still a few bugs in the mechanicals.
I look forward to talking and getting to know others who have a kindered spirit in the older and more classic boats.

Thanks for looking, Mike

Welcome aboard, let me be the first. There are a lot of good people here. I don't know anything about your boat. There is a 70's section also. I had a similar Larson that had the iron duke in it. It was totally locked up. It sat one whole winter with the engine submerged inside the boat.
