TOPIC: Some Photos from the Sunnyland ACBS Show....

We just got back, So I don't have all the photos sorted yet...

It was a GREAT show. Due to time constraints, we didn't get down there until late Friday night. We got to spend the whole day saturday drooling over the boats, and I got to meet quite a few people from the site there as well!

There were actually quite a few fiberglass boats there- More than I had expected!

And, a show favorite. This one isn't a Glassic, it's brand new. It's fiberglass over balsa core- A one of a kind boat that was built 'free form'-

THANKS ANDREW. I knew you would find some yellow trailers.!! That Glasspar Super G is a nifty boat.. That future-istic dual MERC IS ACTUALLY a old time Mt Dora exhibitor.. He had that special Yellow MDZ with stacker Merc .. Gary Mac Noris.. There was a article on Woody "B" the other day.. Merc's should be 1981's... He had the Wanted ad here in the Glassifieds.

We trespassed with the Amphicars and were quickly evicted. We did have an enjoyable visit with some of the Glaspar folks and got an invite from Bill to visit his collection in Illinois. I hope everyone that wanted an Amphicar ride got one. Later "Gator Wave"

This was my first Sunnyland/Mt Dora boat show, and it was a great experience. The Florida Glasspar guys really had a super set up and their boats were impressive. I do wish there had been more vendors as I was expecting more, but it was explained the participation was less than in previous years. Nonetheless, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the restorations and meeting all the cool folks. Great time!
