Hi,
Need help with some parts for the above outboard, in the way of a set of piston rings and a head gasket. Can anyone tell me where i can order the parts and have them ship to the UK? Thanks Carl.

Google the Scott Guy and he may help.
Discount Marine 906 466 2180 may have the head gasket. I think you may have a hard time to find piston rings. Are you sure there bad? Good luck d |

Laings, is also a place to shop, rings are only found in 30 over, with a file you can get there.

Laing's website says no rings or head gaskets are available for the 40 or 45. My source in Minnesota also has no rings. A colleague in the AOMC (Antique Outboard motor Club) restores 1930s and 1940s Evinrudes, he measures the rings and matches them with air compressor rings. Head gasket can be a problem.

Hi Guys
Thanks for your help i now have a head gasket and piston rings on there way to the U.K, can any one tell me the piston ring end gaps? the engine will replace my 18hp evinrude on my owens. Thanks carl.
