FEIN multimaster is a great tool. We use them for work to cut and remove very small joints in masonry and stone. The blades come in a variety of sizes and styles. Be aware however that they are not cheap. A search will show that they can be from 350 to 600 dollars depending on what you buy. A cheaper solution to cut with may be a handheld grinder, with a cutting wheel, or an air powered die grinder with a cutting wheel. Both will cut glass very well. The Fein knife is the cadillac of cutters however.

Wear protective gear to protect eyes and ears!!!

harbor freight sells a cheap model of a multimaster,2 models acually,my brother in law loves it ,im going to get one too,,one is called a multi function power tool for regular price 59.99 ,and a variable speed for 79.99, but they are on sale for 39.99 and 59.99,the cheaper one is about all i can afford,lol.plus i wont wear it out too quick,im kinda lazy,lol.

John's right on the money on this one.....
If it's a one shot deal the HF tool should do the job just fine.
I got the BOSCH version first then the Dramel. But I work the H*ll out of my tools.

I finely got the MultiMaster and it was worth every dime and then some. Words can't tell you the night and day results from the Fine over the knock off's.

I love my MultiMaster!

Okay Okay so I'm with good company here (Heather excluded) I'm cheep and trying not to be Lazy LOL, I've been looking at the Harbor Freight tool. but may can upgrade a little. I hope I enjoy doing this enough to want to add another glassic to the collection, everyone's input has been great on this.
with the outer hull looking sound other than cosmetic am I correct in starting floor up with transom included?
