Yes, I have, Im really trying to find out who owns on, I have a 1965 with all the original parts, the V8 buick engin has to be completely rebuilt, beside that the boat is in great shape.
I originally owned a Lyman, hoping that it will take Lake Erie just as well, love to fish. A frend of mine told me that I might want to install trim tabs to handle the lake better. Anyways I love the boat and cant believe the shape it is in. Mr Eck sent me the original flyer on this boat which Ill try to show you, but practuarlly everything is the same.

NOTHING will take Lake Erie quite like a Lyman... But hopefully it's close... I grew up in Sandusky, OH, so I am kind of partial to Lymans!

We'd love to see some photos of your boat, too!

Yes, please share the flyer with us. You can scan it and post it to the "Library Additions" area of this forum.

Bill Ek is a nice person. I had a great visit with he and his wife Kari at Shell Lake a few years ago.

Yea love the lake, this is kind of new to me, on this particular sight and Im having a problem down loading my pictures. Hopefully ILL LEARN HOW TO USE THIS PARTICULAR SIGHT.
i HAD A 26 HARD TOP lYMAN DAY CRUSER WITH 210 GRAY MARINE V8, GREAT BOAT BUT THE WORK i HAD TO DO ON IT RAN ME DOWN. Now Im retired so i have got a little time. Im actually setting this boat up to get my grand children interesting in fishing, plus learn to respect that Lake it can change in minutes.
All the phone calls I have made in Wisconsin, also talking to Mr Ek + Jim that has the Sport center, they have helped me out quite abit. The Shell Lake Company was quite a business. but all the calls and research I can not find another owner of that particular boat like mine. Would trim tabs be useful to pot on this particular boat?

Karma my daughter is trying to help me up loat one of the pictures that Mr Eck sent me .
This is very close to what my boat looks like.

Soon as i get familar with this web site with the help of my daughter Ill send the original pictures of what I have completed so far. The original seats will be stored away Im going with two captain chairs to give more room for fishing. The rear seat will stay the same, plus every thing else the engin will be completely rebuilt. It should run great "i hope"

Chas the biggest problem with photos here is most likely you need to reduce the size of them. I'd love to see your boat. I'm in Kittanning.

By the way, it is "Ek" - no "c". It is Swedish for oak.
