I got two of these darn George Jetson things. A number of boats used these stern lights. The Chris-Craft Ski Boat in the mid 1960s was one.

Those lights fetch a good price on eBay all the time- that "buy it now" price really isn't that far out of line... If you REALLY need it to finish that restoration project, that's a small price to pay!

My '69 Glastron Jetflite has that same light but I think they were made that way,the sun didn't turn it purple.Mine has always had that purple hue when lit at night.I should probably take out insurance on it:))Ron G

just got mine back from the chrome plater after spending a small fortune to replate it and another small fortune to find a replacement globe and that doesnt include the aluminum mast .

Great looking trim, Gil. The jetson light didn't come on my boat. I got mine off an old junker. I like the jetson better than what came on it originally.

I bought one that was NOS off Ebay about 6 months ago for $117.50. You can find them for MUCH cheaper then what that guy is asking. The globes pop up from time to time as well. Mine was still in the box and had the purplish globe, so I do not believe that is a product of age.
