TOPIC: Can you identify this boat?

I'm new here & a TOTAL boat nube. Never owned one. This came with the house & I wonder if it's worth restoring. I've done many, many car restos, but never a boat. I see no identifying ids on it. I'm guessing its about 16-18 ft, probably a 70s model. Wellcraft maybe? It is totally gutted, takes an outboard motor & I was assured it is sea-worthy.

The older the boat, the better we are generally. I'm guessing this is an 80's boat. Being a newer boat, it should have a Hull Identification Number that identifies the manufacturer:

The hull identification number (HIN) will be a 12 digit number located on the outside of the transon, right side toward the top. It will be molded into the fiberglass. The first 3 digits will be letters which identify the manufacturer. they should be in the chart the link points to, but if not the Coast Guard website will be more complete. There is the problem that the CG will re-issue the same 3 digit code when a company goes out of business, but that can be sorted out if you get that far. I'm pretty sure Tre year of manufacture is coded in there, but I forget exactly which digits that is covered by.
