TOPIC: HOLLYWOOD BOATWORKS of HOUSTON, TX????

friends,

once again,i've discovered another Texas fiberglass boatbuilder.= HOLLYWOOD BOATWORKS of HOUSTON, INC., HOLLYWOOD BAY BOATS COMPANY or HOLLYWOOD ENTERPRISES of TEXAS, INC.
(evidently the same company DBA 3 different names.)

i've found a total of TWO boats that still exist. - a BIG/HEAVY 1963, deep-V, moulded-lapstrake, 17foot open runabout (which i'll likely soon aquire) & a 1966, 16 foot trihull.- both for OB motors.

and that, gentle readers, is ALL that i know about the company.

does anyone know anything else?

one other possible bit of information from the nice young man, who owns the trihull.
Scott says that he believes that the boats were built by a small custom builder & that the dealer may have named them HOLLYWOOD.

i just wish that i knew more.

How about a photo of the logo / emblem? I can make a new entry in the Library with some documentation like that.
