Got this old pennant pole at a yard sale. Gave it some sanding and a few coats of varnish...Came out nice. I especially like the 5/8" socket. Perfect fit for my bow light.
However the top only measures 1/2". Got some Skipper Clips but they seem a bit too big. And I don't want to split it.

Soo... What do you guys use to mount your burgees?

I used those split key rings that you can buy, any size. Drilled small 1/8" holes the same distance as the burgee eyelets and just spun the ring through the hole and the eyelets at the same time.
