TOPIC: advice on a 61 cutter

advice on a 61 cutter 13 years 10 months ago #41481

I bought a 1961 cutter, and I have no idea what it is worth. I would really like to restore it, but I dont know if it is worth it or not. Everything is in great shape, it has the seats, running motor, titles, just needs a gel coat. Any idea???

Pics would help out. But a boats worth many times is up to the owner or what someone would be willing to pay. I myself would rather enjoy a classic than drive an old hum drum new buggy. Plus the knowledge you did it yourself is tremendous.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“
