Where can I get some type of trim to cover the raw edges of the glass. The aluminum edging stuff that is usually on the inside of the boat.

check at auto parts stores for door edge trim :)

I looked at some of the auto door edge trim but I think it just comes in specified lengths. Don't want a patch job. I'll check again at different places. Some of the other glass boats I've junked had the alum strips nicely curved around all the corners and stapled from the backside, never know how they drive those staples into the hard glass.

I don't like the raw edge one finds on most boats of that vintage. Some do have the aluminum trim piece some have nothing. I source my rubber edge trim from McMaster-Carr (a giant hardware wholesaler) you can purchase it by the foot. They have many different types and sizes of edge trim.

Linked with the Taco site, didn't see any prices on what I was looking for. Guess I'll have to give them a call when I get to that point.
