What is the best way to deal with the chalking rubber on this old Wizard Bolero Imperial 15? (BTW, I didn't think the paint job looked that red before taking the pic.)

Wet sand it, then hit it with some rubber protectant/sealant. It will likely soak up some of the protectant, so hit it with a few coats.

I used Sno Bol Toilet Bowl cleaner on mine and hit it with one of these from Harbor Freight and my 3/8 inch drill. I made it look like a new one.

I then Sealed it with some Marvel Mystery Oil.

I took mine off and used my small hand sander on mime and sanded till it was down to clean rubber with no checks in it. Only took about and hour. Had some before and after but deleted them when I did reinstall on the computer.
