back in the 50's they didnt know how long fiberglass would last or just how durable, and they were overbuilt and under rated.

Holy COW!!!!!! At least a weak transom would be the least of your problems. It would be fun to own something like this just to keep in your garage for 'bragging rights'!!!!!!

It would be very interesting to see the modifications that were made to stiffen the hull to hold it together. I think the first turn (if not done at idle) would be scary enough to keep you from launching it a second time.

The seller did say for an experienced driver.
