In addition to collaborating with General Motors on the powerhead...Thats the part that would scare me ...L.O.L..I worked for a GM Dealership .GM same guys that made a Vega Engine with steel rings on a totally Aluminum Block .Then made the same design Flaw on all of thier rack and Pinion stearing racks for like 15 years .Dont even get me started on the Rep they gave to diesel engines in the 80s ...L.O.L..Gas engine with Diesel heads ..Never seen one past go 15,000 without blowing a head gasket or a rod ..I could go on for hours ..Hope they are better now ..We use to think there development was Design it , Build it , Drive it around the block and let warrenty cover our mistakes ..Sorry for the Rant ..Ild stick with a Good Merc 2.5 anyday if ya wanna got fast ..Lot cheaper to Ild bet .On the road you can call a Tow truck and a cab .. Hard to do on a lake ..L.O.L...

My .02 cents All I have to say is that if the ZF lower unit is part of the package its JUNK due to my repair of the ZF trans axles used in the Clark forklifts used in the mid 80's
