Hey all, most are probably familiar with the RAND chopper spray gun used in the manufacturing of fiberglass boats (and other fiberglass items).

Has anyone heard of a similar chopper spray gun made by Anthony "Tony" Fox in Minnesota? I am fairly certain this is the same Tony Fox that broke the land speed record at Bonnevile Flats circa 1974 and developed the FoxJet jet aircraft.

Was his fiberglass chopper gun successful? Did boat manufacturers use it? Anyone have any clue?

Fox was co-founder of a small fiberglass fabricating plant at Lake Park, MN in 1958 called Fola Corporaiton. One product that they made was fiberglass boats. The firm was bankrupt by January 1961.

Tony lives just a few blocks from me just off Penn. He also had an outfit called propulsion research (I think) at the bottom of Lyndale Ave on the river that built some jet boats. Ky Michelson worked for him at SnoPoney and built a snomobile Dragster. He owns Polution Packer. They make commercial trash compactors.
