hey gang,mr.lagna is graceously letting me look at about 8 boats he has,so i can restore one of them,i havent seen pictures yet,and 1 is a 68,thunderbird/formula 17,and im so curious as to what one looks like, and i cant find any info or pics of this model, can anyone find a pic,im really excited to see.
i talked to bill on the phone the other day and you couldnt find a nicer guy,he gives small boats to kids ,just to get them interested in boats, thats a class act in my book, hmmmmmm i just had a thought i wonder if he has a small one too, that i can restore for him to give to a kid.i would love that, especially seeing the kids face when he got it.
if he does ill just get a little more paint then i need and make it the same colors i do the original boat in,so i give a big thank you to mr .william lagna, thank you bill.

as soon as i posted the above post,i called bill, and asked if he had a small boat that would fit in the 8 foot bed of my truck, and he does,so when i take my lowboy down to pick up a boat from him for me,im also going to get the small boat and restore it also,so bill can give to a kid of his choosing, last year bill gave a center console boat with a running 25 hp motor and trailer to a child with cancer,a very good deed ,indeed,
i am looking forward to doing this very much,i guess its my way of giving back for project x,thanks guys, and also a way to repay bill for his generosity, thanks again bill.john p.s. if you see "wmlagna" make a post give him some karma points please

wow ron thanks i just found the lyrics,it fits my wife so much thanks Once upon a time
There was a little girl
The sweetest little girl
In this whole wide world
She was mine
Once upon a time
Oh, oh, oh, oh...
Once upon a time
There was a love
Sent down to Earth
From the angels above
That love was mine
Oh, once upon a time
Once upon a time
The story that I tell
I know it, oh, so well
It's not a fairy tale
And it's really, really true
Then love, love and laughter
And they lived happy ever after
Who would believe it's true
Would you
Once upon a time
There was a heart
So happy and so gay
Right from the start
That heart was mine
Oh, once upon a time
heres the you tube of "once apon a time" by rochelle and the candles(1960)

and heres your boats name"remember then" by larry chance and the earls,(1962)

sorry all for getting a little off topic, lol
