Look at the company website for some basic history. They are currently located at Wausau, WI. I think a little 15 foot or so tri-hull was their first boat. Nothing out of the ordinary for the time period.

Jack Dallman started YarCraft at Menominee, MI in 1969. For two years previous he had been vice president and general manager of Thompson Bros. Boat Mfg. Co. at nearby Peshtigo, WI. Thompson was owned of Saul Padek at the time.

Dallman had previously been with Cruisers, Inc. and earlier with Thompson Skis working for Roy and Grant Thompson. His first boat building experience was with Dorsett at their Bremen, IN facility.

YarCraft was always a small company. I have no clue how many boats they built annually. Jack Dallman died in 1996 and his widow Ruth and daughter Kat took over. Kat had been vice presdient for a few years. They sold the struggling firm soon afterwards to Bob Schuette.

Schuette sold out to Corey Suthers of Wausau in 2004 and moved operations to Wausau, WI. They built a brand new facory which was operating by 2005.

I have a 1980 brochure and one from 1994.
