Motor hood is 1956. The only year OMC had 30 HP outboards.

Very nice long shaft Johnson!!! Don't see those too often. That is in my opinion one of the most beautiful outboards when restored. Does it come with the two hose pressure tank. They are getting scarcer all the time. Hope you find a suitable reto project soon. Mike

I have 3 of the Johnson 2 hose pressure tanks complete with fittings and fuel line. May be willing to let one go if anyone is looking.

The clam shell hood on those are a classic. I have a motor just like it I got in a trade but havn't had a chance to do anything with it yet. Those big twins are better than Timex watchs even better than the Energize bunny. If taken care of they would last a 100years. One great thing about them is part are redaly available. Gaskets impeller and such. I have I think 7 of them for 56 to 60. Dam they are also so easy to work on.
